Thug Posted August 26, 2009 Posted August 26, 2009 How does this dome crit thing work? Starts at 17:30 at the parking lot opposite the Dome. Circuit length is approx 850mRace for 40 min (light dependant) + 1 lap Cost is R20Top 5 men & 3 women get prize money (from race entries)

The "technical" aspect ie cornering at speed' date=' was the best part. I think that Sonic lapped me at least 4 times. It seems that the tactics are to do 2 slow laps, then hammer for 10 laps then die for the rest of the time. After 14 minutes I had already been lapped twice. Really good for one's esteem! Thanks to the guys from Northcliff Cycles who swept the entire course with brooms before the start and provided free cooldrinks afterwards.
