One could argue that Dirty Hippo probably has the best MTB, Factory Epic S-Works. As for the best MTBer on the hub.. See my above answer.

Of course beauty is in the eye of the beholder so my 9.2 Kg TI hardtail is the best MTB on the hub.

MY HUMBLE OU TOPPIE OPINION

We all think that our Bike is the bees Knees.. I would hope

If we could all afford the best bike - we would all have the same...bike

So in my HO - you buy what you can afford' date=' and then make it " bling"to your taste .....and as good as you can without going bankrupt..

The Best rider, again - we all believe deep down - we are the best

That is until we hit a rocky decent or a drop off.. then .....

[/quote']

Then you spank that drop off and shout "Who's your daddy biaash!!" Wink

This reminds me of when I worked at Squaw Valley, California. A book was written and published by Robb Gaffney, MD called "Squallywood: A Guide to Squaw Valley's Most Exposed Lines"

It gives details of all the technical ski lines at Squaw Valley both in and out of bounds as well as a difficulty rating.

In the last Chapter (Written by Shane McConkey, Google him) there is a game called G.N.A.R ( Gaffneys Numerical Assessment of Radnees) where players build up points for doing different tasks and lines during the ski day.

Ego Claim: After skiing a designated line, go over to a group of strangers who were watching and claim, "I'm the best skiing on the mountain!"

Radness Yell: Before dropping into line, vigorously wave arms while yelling at the top of lungs: "Hey! Check me out! I'm gonna rip the sh!t out of this!"

Butt naked: self explantory

Steal clothes: Steal the clothes of the person doing Butt naked and take them to base of chairlift

ETC.
