Had a lekker early morning ride on Saturday' date=' wanted to show the bridge to mates ...

Took the black route,  but must have missed a route marker ... we only managed 27.5km ... or is it on the blue route?

Forgot to ask if there's route maps at Teak's reception, you guys perhaps have maps or know of?

ysterman, did you find the little piece of track on the other side of the tar road as well? a very sweet not-too-steep climb, and a very fast downhill on jeeptrack and then on dirtroad.

Indeed we did, and as you mentioned - sweet!

I hope they include more tracks further on at the current "turn-around" point there - I can see lots more singletrack ...

Thing is I'm wondering how we missed the floating bridge ...

Did the black route after the rains on Saturday- very slippery - it was the first time in 2 years that i did a unplanned dismount, and it did not stay with one, also slid of the bridge - the water was awesome. I must compliment the effort that these guys does with the track and markings much better than last year, just could not get the track on the other side of the tar road below the culvert.

I must say that Teak is possibly the best cycling I've done in ages. Although that floating bridge claimed me as a victim one day - to be fair we did have 12 people riding over it multiple times... ;)

Don't head along the fence!! Turn right under the culvert, and 20 meters straight in front of you there is two predestrian poles put in the fence.

Unfortuntely it's the only place where you have to pick up your bike and walk to get through the fence...Go through them and you will see the single track in front of you going up the hill.
