A pity that I only see this now. The secret is not to let the wound get dry. I redressed with paraffin gauze and copious amounts of petroleum jelly to minimize scars (after I "bought" a piece of the Paarl track a few years ago).

Happened just before the Caltex on the West Coast Road when they where clapping it at 50km+ when wheels touched. No-one else was involved and he cycled back to the start.Clap

With those legs it looks like a scene from Terminator.? Glad to see he's human under the skin!

that's just coolant leaking out. If properly washed away, we would see the truth....

Is it really best to keep it wet. I felt on saturday on a DC training ride. Taxi pulled into oncoming lane, and my team mate in front of me broke too hard, I had nowhere to go, tried to squeeze between her and the pavement, clipped her hip, then the pavements, took quiet a fall. Lots of abrasive scrapes and scratches on my left arm and shoulder. Anyway, I went to the chemist and ask them what I should do...they said dont keep it wet, you have to dry it out, so I took their advice, sure I'm due for some hectic scars. Are their any risks in keeping the wound wet? e.g. infection etc
