xc wheels i cant decide between a set of DT swiss rims or American classic, they both weigh about the same but apparently the American classics are bullet proof!

They can be better (lighter, stronger and cheaper ?) than some factory made wheels.

I'd go for a custom set, Hope Pro II's with a tubeless rim. Maybe the Mavic 819 or a ZTR Flow.

What hubs and spokes and nipples are used for those builds?

 

Are these new rims or just renamed for 2010? How do they relate to the current ones? ie Olympic or 355 etc.
