Hey ST. I lost my mother in a tragic accident about 4 years ago and not a day goes by that I don't think about her. I can tell you that with time it gets a little easier.

My deepest condolensces to you and your family. I'm not sure this is the closure you were looking for but I'm sure you can work with it.

@headhunter: wrong place, wrong time buddy; vent somewhere else.

Sorry for your loss. My Father in Law died suddenly in December last year and my Wife still doesn't have closure. May your healing begin.

ST, sad to lose your Dad. Glad you have closure and can move on. You must have many good memories of your Dad. Bet he's smiling down on you.

Thank you very much for the well wishes.

He is the reason I have such a passion for this sport.

The bike he rode that morning was a white Cannondale Criterium which he bought new in 1988. Prior to that he rode a red Peugot Marage. He also rode often a Handsom tandem with my mom

I thought I'd post a few of his special cycling memories.
