Yep.

I often wear a undershirt for this reason.

I "converted" one of my normal shorts to bib, but the strap runs over my nipple and irrates the heck out of it.

Just a tip though, wear a undershirt that is made out of similar cycling material, not cotten otherwise you are going to die of sweat.

Also nice and tight fitting.

Once you are on the road, you will forget that you are wearing extra layers.

trade it for a female bib' date=' doesn't go over your nipples thenLOL

The best thing is to wear something underneath...like Rude said!!

I actually wear an undershirt and it helps, but on a long ride it is still problematic.

The seam on the strap seems excessively "rough"

Unpick the seam???

OK, real female advice I know!! But no one sees that part anyway.

If you have a hairy chest like I do, that is a very *** idea, I learnt that the hard way, I could not go shirtless in front of my mates, with what looked like crosses over each nipple. Beside the pain rukking the blerrie things off my hairy man boobs.

So I took the plunge and bought a pair of Assos F1 Uno bibs. My arse is happy at this point in time but my nipples aren't

How do I prevent my nipples being chafed. I have a pair of Giordana's and Capestorm Matrix bibs and don't have the problem.

Any suggestions?

Yeah, you should have bought an Assos Ladies FI.13 Bib shorts.

It has a single strap that runs between your nipples.

Now that is a darn good idea.

Gotta love female practicality!

just a tought maybe & thats if you can. I dont own a pair of bibshorts but ive seen some other guys do it.

Try see if you can swap the straps around ie: left shoulder over the right. Might become a little too tight then but its worth a try i reckon. That way it also doesnt go over the nipples but rather crosses over your chest. Might have a buldgy bit at the back though from the cross over but try it ???. Who knows  ???

Here we go with the sensitivity again.

I don't have nipple chaff problems so no thats not what I did.

However, the style of the bib is quite practical if you do have nipples that get in the way. Nobody needs to know it's a ladies bib and the cut is not that different from a men's.

Runners sometimes place an elstoplas over their nipples to avoid chafe an this could work for you too however its not a plan for hairy chests.

one tries to be helpful and you end getting labelled snide...

Those female bibs aren't comfy, either. I changed to female bibs after many years, it tends to ride up and you get choked by your own bibshort. I know they say 'lift and seperate', but this is too much.
