Bar ends

Just purchased a scott scale 40 and realized my previous bike came with bar ends already installed.I found the bar ends very useful

My Q is what is the nicest bar ends to get. The LBS is trying to push KCNC

on me. they look sweet but are they any good. Any advice hubbers

Only one in my opinion better is the Ergo grips - takes one or two rides to get the angles right, but very sweet after that!

Kcnc must be the lightest set out there at 49 grams a set(3grams more than claimed,not that it makes a difference!).They look good to..

Very true - that is another point that counts against ergo, they are not the lightest, not the cheapest for that matter.

Buying KCNC bar ends does feel a little like buying something of far greater value though - the way it is packed you'd expect them to be R2k!

Its true comes in a fancy box , I dont have to use side cutters to get at my product. My thinking was spent so much on the bike mite as well finish it off nicely. Let you know tomorrow my virgin ride yup new years day, what a nerd i am

I've just fitted a set of Easton EC-90 ?nicely shaped carbon bar-ends, they are very comfortable and light (81g), got 'em from CRC?

There are lighter but at a very premium price not available in SA, so KCNC is very good value, got a set on my bike as well.

BBB had a nice set as well. not the lightest but well priced and ergonomically sound.  LOVED mine

Oh and I almost forgot, no riser bars with the bar ends please !
