Best place to get my road bike serviced?

I have heard numerous different stories as to where to take or not take my bike for a service, so am wondering is there a consensus on the hub? based south peninsula cape town

Cycle Lab in Westlake is good. But as I live in Seapoint my preferred option is John O'Connor Bike Shop in Mouille Point. Great service and highly recommended

You will learn from trial and error where to take your bike or where not to take your bike, eg I won't take my bike to CWC as I had a bad experience yet other Hubbers might have received good service there, I recommend Crown Cycles as they always go the extra mile to satisfy their customers. Also depends what you need done - if its just cleaning, lubing and resetting gears, I have found it a lot easier (and cheaper) to invest a little time to learn how to do it myself.

I'd love to say Bridge Cycles as they are my "LBS", but I do find doing things yourself is usually the only way to get things done properly.

 

I've had good and bad service from Bridge Cycles and Cycle Lab. I think it's much like that with everything though these days when it comes to service levels.
