Hi

I'm looking to buy some wheels and disc brakes, but don't know if I should go for 6 bolt or C-lock.

What is the better choice?

Thanks

6 bolt discs are cheaper and wheels are easier to find.

Jup, There are adaptors both ways but Just get 6 bolt, unless youre thinking of using shimano brakes  for life.

I don't think you get an adapter to take it from centre-lock to-6 bolt.

I use Shimano brakes and Shimano hubs and they are 6-bolt.

Must be cause both my XT wheel sets on my bikes got CL . If either of your rotors start to rattle you gonna also find your teeth also rattling soon after that ! I have felt no diffirence between the two

Bos' date=' that is to make a 6-bolt disc fit on a Centre-lock hub, not the other way around.[/quote']

I thought that's what you meant too. But you're right, you don't get them the other way round.
