No, it's the ESI caps that comes with ESI grips.

Oh OK I haven't used mine so I did not recognise the logo.

Very nice Kletterer, what is the final weight? and cost if i can ask?

thanks. the frame came in at about R 1300/kg. Weight was just over 2000g. Final weight is 11.4 kg, paid just over 30k. I used to ride a 26" fully and will try the HT now. If I am not happy the next step will be a softail 29er frame.

Bragcord, what's the weight of the frame and the weight of the wheels.

Asking cause my frame is 1.25kg, my wheels 1.8kg and my groupset lighter than xt. Using extralite handelbar and stem, which weighs nothing and a ec90 seatpost.

My bike is still over 10kg.

I know the sid world cup is 200g lighter than my reba race

THE KCNC STEM IS 103G THE HANDLE BAR IS 99G AND THE SEATPOST IS 125G SO THERE IS YOU AWNSER TO THE EC 90 THAT IS ABOUT DOUBLE THAT WEIGHT!THE SIDI IS 200G LIGHTER THAN YOURS AS YOU SAID!LOOK AT YOUR SADDLE AS THE ONE ON THE BIKE COMES IN AT 165G REALLY LIGHT THE WHEELSET IS 1600G AND LOOK AT THE TYRES ASWELL THE WIRE BEAD IS LIGTHER TO RUN AS TUBELESS THAN THE UST TIRES AND THAT WOULD DROP THE WEIGHT EVEN MORE DID WITH ABOUT 200G ON THE COMMENCAL!

All good and well but you need to weigh bikes on the same scale or the weights will always differ, some scales are really off by a good margin.

I still feel that the commencal is probly heavier heavier - my gt comes in at 9,3 with podium mmx wheels, full xtr sans the cassete, the same kcnc parts, the same fork etc. Ok the gt carbon frame is heavy at around 1,4- 1,6kg so maybe the alu commencal is lighter, but the wheels are around 300g lighter. Maybe it just makes up the difference from the frame ?

Not trying to ditch the weight or anything. Just looking for ideas to save weight on my bike.

My extra lite stem - 95g

Handlebar - 105g

Selle italia saddle - 135g

EC90 - 195g

Tyres (680g + 590g) - changing to rocket ron non ust this week
