bikemonster Posted February 26, 2010 Share I've got a slight problem with the caption "Cyclist?collides with?car"... That guy is not a cyclist - he is some-one who commutes on a bicycle or uses a bicycle for work purposes. There is a difference... Can I go and fetch a ladder that reaches up to that horse? sias Posted February 26, 2010 Share Dankie Mud - maar jy weet wat ek bedoel...Everytime I hear on the news that a cyclist has been in some or other event, I get the picture of a helmeted, Lycra clad rider on a proper racing/MTB bike...

If I take my flashy bike for a spin to the shops, dressed in my plakkies and shorts and a car runs me over, in wich group will you class me? Thomo Posted February 26, 2010 Share No. He is still a cyclist. Doesnt matter if he rides an old bike to work or not. Do we all belong to a "special'' group just because we ride flashy bikes? I don't think the flashy bikes make "cyclists" a "special group", but the flashy lycra certainly does.! I hope the fella's bike gets sorted out ... SeasonalCyclist Posted March 1, 2010 Share That bike doesn't look roadworthy. The baggage hanging from the handlebar doesn't help either. Those were the Air-Bags that activate on Impact!!!
Tuxstir Posted March 7, 2010 Share That bike doesn't look roadworthy. The baggage hanging from the handlebar doesn't help either. Those were the Air-Bags that activate on Impact!!! To Be Precise: those air-bags were installed at a back alley cycle shop in hillbrow. saw the same thing in benrose not too long ago... wouldn't want them myself...tedibear2010-03-07 07:59:
