As for the road, KEEP OFF IT!!!  I rode there last weekend and it's worse than any road in Jhb!  It's narrow and the cars FLY past you at 140 - 180km/h.  The people will see how close they can go past you at this speed.  Once again, STAY AWAY!!!!!!!!

SP, it doesn't really help though.  It's a big hoe-haa and nothing happens after that.

ewep, some people remember it. so the more we do it the more people will remember. the more remember the more will be aware. it has made a diff in that area so we need to do it in other areas as well.

SP, yes, but the people that should support us as cyclists (i.e. Transport Dept) aren't interested.  We should get them on our side, anders help dit nie!

ewep, TB are doing their best - if we join forces with them then we might achieve more.

SP, ask anyone who TB is and they think of motorbikes, not us cyclists.  I asked around, and that's what happened.

ewep, that's because they've only just started including cyclists. we need to help expand the view to include cycling and scooters - anything "bike" related. we're busy designing cycling kit - KonaFan's boet has been playing around with images and now anatomic are doing the final design so give TB a chance.
