Grebel Posted April 24, 2018 Share Anyone try this yet? https://www.facebook.com/ecologic3D/http://www.ecologic.co.za/ I know they have a Mica in Pretoria (I want to swing past there today) I used Prepsol, but it seems that a Shimano 9 speed chain does not like Prepsol. And I am looking for something that can clean my clothing as well after a mud-filled ride. I have been using Powasol bike wash for a number of years now. Dilute it 1:5, spray on, leave for a few minutes and then hose it off (Obviously not spraying directly into bearings etc, etc, etc.) I use it to clean muddy clothes and shoes as well. Works well as an engine wash too. My van's gets cleaned every 15000km. It doesn't work that well on really greasy parts though. I have a small bottle of solvent based, water soluble degreaser for those bits.

MrJacques Posted December 18, 2020 Share Pedro's Oranj Peelz worked really well for me to degrease a chain I tried other things like dishwashing liquid and alcohol which didn't do much in comparison. Then I tried Pedro's and was really impressed at how it just cuts through the grease and oil. This stuff works! The 'funny' thing is I've had it for years (bought from a hubber along with some other Pedro's products as part of a cleaning kit) and only opened it yesterday.
