Am I right?

Ghana is the only African country going into the final 16.

I really want an African country to push deep into the tournament.

Go, Ghana, Go!!!

Ghana is in the easy half of the draw. They can go to the semi's. If the win agains the USA, the take on the winner between S Korea and Uruguay.

Yah, that USA team is not one of my favourites.

They sneak in with draws and one 91' goal.

Go, Ghana - You Gha-Na Do It!

Both Ghana and USA like to attact, so hope it will be a fun game to watch. But I think USA is on a revenge after losing to Ghana in 2006 (2-1), I predict 3-2 for USA, yeah want to start seeing some goals :-)

The draw does hold many what if's. What Nigeria had slotted the two open goals they missed against S Korea and were playing South Africa (what if they beat Uruguay). And the winner (South Africa) then went on to play Ghana in the quarters. What if....

Was there last night and they were great.

Horrible, horrible traffic management in and out; got back to Jo'burg 2:30am.

Anyone got a spare ticket or two for England / Germany?...in the next hour!

Oraait, it is quarter-final time for the talented Ghana team!

Uruguay is surfing the 'South American wave of success right now, alongside, Paraguay, Brazil and Argentina. That, in itself, is a fascinating phenomenon.

I wonder, next to the African hope in yellow, whether the cup is going to South America or Europa.

It will be very cool if Ghana can set new limits and possibilities by being the 1st African country to get to semi-final stage!

GO, GHANA, GO!!!
