Personally Dick, it sounds like you are heading down the Alcoholic path, go get it sorted out now while everything is still okay.

You'll be surprised how much better you'll feel and ride without all of that in you!!

Not judging, just my opinion.

EXERCISE REQUIRED

To burn the calories in this food you could do any of the following:

  • 339 mins of walking
  • 140 mins of jogging
  • 102 mins of swimming
  • 186 mins of cycling
If you do this you would stay the same. not be better or worse off. 3 hours of cycling daily just to keep your beer habbit seems crazy Dead

Dick' date=' don't do it man! I need my fellow 95kg's cyclists out there. ;-)
Just not cycling with you if you can't hold your line.    ;-)

And Buff, where the hell were you on Saturday in Zevenwacht? It's not fun trying to follow Mark up those climbs.

Dick, I started a diet on Monday to get in shape for K2C... give me two weeks to see how effective it is and I'll past it on. One downer though, no Dop what-so-ever Shocked.

C50, as jy dom is moet jy suffer swaer. Trying to stay with Mark on any hill is a k@k idea, just ask the okes on the board who've race league against him in the past (Groom Lem). But don't worry, he pulled me through his ring on Sundays ride Ouch LOL.

Now I've picked up some damn cold bug that's doing the rounds Angry. Hope it's pissed off by the weekend.

3 litres......light weight. Why dont you rather switch to a bottle brandy and a bottle coke lite?

Faan,

Waarvan praat jy? Dit is brandewyn en Tab! Nie brandewyn en coke lite nie. ;-)

Dick,

Personally i would go with whiskey and water. Best of both worlds.  ;-)

To quote some great men:

"Beer is proof that God loves us and wants us to be happy."
~ Benjamin  Franklin

"When I read about the evils of drinking, I gave up reading."
~  Henny Youngman

"Without  question, the greatest invention in the
history of mankind is beer.  Oh, I grant you that the
wheel was also a fine invention, but the wheel  does
not go nearly as well with pizza."

~ Dave Barry

To some ! it's a six-pack, to me it's a Support Group. Salvation in a  can!
~ Dave  Howell

And saving the best for last, as explained by Cliff  Clavin, of  Cheers.
One afternoon at Cheers, Cliff Clavin was explaining the Buffalo Theory to his buddy Norm.
Here's how it  went:

"Well ya see, Norm, it's like this... A herd of buffalo can only move as fast as the slowest buffalo. And when the herd is hunted, it is the slowest and weakest  ones at the back that are killed first This natural selection is good for the herd as a whole, because the general speed and health of the whole group keeps improving by the regular killing of the weakest members.  In much the same way, the human brain can only operate as fast as the slowest brain cells.  Excessive intake of  alcohol, as we know, kills brain cells.  But naturally, it attacks the slowest and weakest brain cells first.  In this way, regular consumption of beer eliminates the weaker brain cells, making the brain a faster and more efficient machine.  That's why you always feel smarter after a few beers."
