He had the Yellow Jersey - why attack? If he just maintained the status quo he would still have the Yellow today instead of the White...maybe next year he will have the experience to retain it?? How often did LA lose it?

This effectively forced Schlek to attack in order to increase his lead to the required 90-120 seconds. Edumacation man edumacation! Better? B)
