Excellent time to buy. Exchange rate is super low. So if you look at the prices don't look in ZAR but rather £ and hte convert it to ZAR yourself. Their exchange rate calculator is normally a few days behind.

hairy: william and I ponied up for that order almost 2 weeks ago. done and done in near record time. You will have to start another order, and a bit of a pity as i had pulled the trigger on an order last night. already left germany.

Is it better to be ordering from somewhere in Europe at the moment, rather then CRC? waht with the Euro being so low at the moment :) If so where should I order from

if u do your calculations crack, u will see tehre are no cracks in the forex rules. the item in pounds will nail u the same way it does in euros almost no matter where u buy it from. do the math, let me know ;)

If the price is 1 to 1 ie, 1 pound = 1 euro, then buying from a Euro country will be cheaper. But that is never the case. Look at Take2 for instance. They have a UK shop and a USA shop. Some items are available from both shops. Most of the time the US prices are cheaper because the ZAR is stronger against the dollar even thou the £ is just a fraction worth more then the $ if you do the £/$ conversion.

Guys I see you have done crc orders.

I am keen to buy a garmin 500 edge from CRC but wanted to know what the extra cost will be. The garmin is about 2200 and say i pay for shipping which they say is about R111.00 then what do I still need to add?
