Slightly off-topic but here are four guidelines to follow which came straight from my doctor. Don't ride if:

1. You have a fever.

2. You have an aching body.

3. You have elevated blood pressure or

4. Your heartrate is not it's normal self.

I did one race while ignoring the above and had to sit out a whole month due to my HR not wanting to come down. It scared the living #$%^ out of me. I think they call it Myocarditis - google it, it will knock some sense into us 'training-crazy' bikers.

After many years of random drug abuse including antibiotics and alcohol, misc. recreational drugs like pure pharmacological grade MDMA, Columbian marching powder, shrooms and others, I have little to no sensation in various parts of my body. Luckily I can still pedal. Not always in a straight line. But I can pedal.

Anybody ever get glandular fever? I've been feeling like crap for about two weeks straight, went to the doc, doc diagnosed it as glandulour said ill feel like crap for about another week, and should be feeling weak for about a week after that.

Googled it and seems most people struggle to get back to normal between 6 months and a year? I so hope not.

Moderate to light exercise, in sunlight, can increase "feel good" chemical reactions in the body. This makes the person feel more positive. And heal quicker. But it can also slow the healing process. SOmetimes yo just gotta step back to go forward.
