My only comment might be that it could be difficult to adjust the screw on the drop out with it being so close to that strut. you would have to use a single allen key as a multi tool might be a on the tight side to fit in. When comparing the blue frame and the orange one you will see only the blue frame has this strut. Maybe it is just a factor on the large to mother large frames. They do custom bikes, so one can pretty much spec what you want, some could ask for the brace to increase the supposed breaking forces.I would need one with a split frame.
