It happens everywere. I got knife jacked a while back by 3 PDP's in Bloem.

Guess the only thing is to try and avoid riding alone (even though that seems to be no deterrent) and try and stick to well used areas, glad they're ok

i'm gringing! brings back horrid memories. when i got jacked off my bike a coupla years back, my friend (who was supposed to have been with me on the ride) phoned and got my attacker on the line. he said: "we've shot the bastard! he's lying dead in the rode." (he didn't shoot me, but did fire a round off over my head as a afterthought after beating the crap outta me)

 

my mate thought it was me putting on an accent, so he called back. the guy said:"he's dead. we've got his bike. leave us alone." so sam called my wife (now my ex), and told her what happened.

 

she called. luckily this time, the guy had softened his tune. he said: "we've taken his bike and left him on the road." for two hours, no one could get hold of me as a cop had picked me and went tearing round a squatter camp looking for the bastards.

 

i didn't know about the phone calls and the stress my loved ones were going through. i hope these guys get some counselling. i made the mistake of not doing that!
