Check yer diet.

I used to think it was an advantage, I mean have you ever tried to drop a dart and breath at the same time on a climb?

End up nigh on passing out and probably gassing your to death internally, bloody shpincter and mouth were opening and closing for air like a pair of synchronized swimmers.

Thankfully I passed wind, climbed the hill and managed to breath, although the eyes were bloodshot for the next three days.

Since then, no hot Nandos before a ride!

On a serious note I've had this happen whilst running and biking. I just put it down to your body heating up as you exercise, the gasses inside also getting warm, expanding and having little option of where to vent themselves.

Very natural body function so not too embarrassing as I figured it was happening to most other riders.

Just be wary of people who stand to pedal for a few seconds but don't actually pull away from the bunch.

wait, your not the dude that dumps it at the start pen ?

I was hoping you would not mention the start pen. The other day one of the officials...you know those cross tannies in black

heard me rip and called her friend to stare at me. I got lekker excited when the big one dropped me a little wave. She put me off my stroke

and I could not cleat up.

1 metre 56 and weigh 162 kgs

If these are you stats - it a pity you at the back as you would offer slip steam for 2 cyclists on the drops!

I have just lost 13 kg...all from the riding. Only problem is I have bum sores on my inner thighs. Got any suggestions for me to get rid of these.

I am a crazy mad cycling enthusiast who started riding so that I could meet girls...but I seem to chase them away.

Help me please.

Thats very funny and conjures up some laughable images!

There is link to excercise and letting rip. The bodies movement is a sure way to loosen up your gut and get the juices flowing, and is a recommendation of any Dr worth his weight as a cure to help peristalsis do what it needs to do.

Some people are naturally more gassy than others as well.

Nothing like a silent but violent in a crowd

Thanks so much Dave T.

You are a biscuit!

Is there any way I can restrict my outflow...maybe you can give me the number for Dr Worth.

Cheers...talk soon.

I suffer terribly from riders wind. I am embarrassed to ask but is this common?

I am 1 metre 56 and weigh 162 kgs and try to stay at the back of the pack or downwind.

Any suggestions on what I should or should'nt be eating before, during or after a ride?

Hell...I heard this thing is big in the SA Pro peloton. Rumour has it that some of the big winners are also the big farters.
