While I would rather be dead than be seeing riding a raleigh. I this case the raleigh is a better buy. Apart from the looks aspect ( interesting spoke pattern on the wheels and the frame is good looking too) The components too are of a better spec than the silverback. Deore Vs Alvio. If you can get the raleigh, then I would suggest you take it.

Based on spec - Raleigh. Current Alivio is like 2008 Deore. 2011 Deore is a new kid on the block, and I feel has gone back to the quality that auld Deore represented.

The DART is on a par with the XCR, but both need upgrading in the future to show you what MTB really can offer.

If I were you, I'd get the Raleigh. Tell the brand-mongerers to sod off and go out and enjoy your ride, no matter what you have under you. I'm in the process of upgrading the bike I got for R 5,500 brand new. And you know what? It's exactly the same frame that came on bikes that cost 3 times as much as mine.

i just confuse with the manufacturing for the raleigh, it's not the model that seem in the official website. <_< but as u guys said, the spec is much more better if compare to the saturn. another thing is the price matter , the saturn cost 1,900 and the race cost 1,600 in ringgit malaysia. raleigh with deore is cheaper :)

Are Malaysian people short? That Raleigh only comes in 16.5" and so does the model above it. The model below it comes in 14.5" and 16.5"

haha...might be..i also don't know why. as my height , 174cm, size 16.5 should be ok for me ? the saturn is 17 (m size)!
