thats easy... the tallboy!

I've had a GF 29er Hi Fi Pro for a year - did Sani2c in the mud (Adventure) plus Joberg2C. Broke a chain, a back deraileur and one puncture (but sorted). Awesome bike if u have the skills to use it.

specialized without a doubt. Do a search for the superfly, every second reviewers bike has cracked.

That was the old ones....the new Trek GF has apparently being fixed.

Full Suspension - go 26er

Hard Tail = 29er

Interesting, a friend of mine did that and is now getting 29er full Suss....

I am not sold yet on the 29er hardtail.....

29er Full Suspension is overkill.

Why do you say that?

I have just bought the giant anthem x 29er for the epic...I can honestly say I have no regrets having moved from a volcan dual sus 26er - granted I have had the bike 3 weeks but I have done some good distance and technical stuff and so far no major disadvantages and plenty advantages

Less of a choice when I bought the Ellsworth - every manufacturer has one now, so you have more choices - look at the 2011 options - has GF kept up?

Don't believe that the 29er FS is overkill - the HT works well on the district roads, but much of the "new" Epic is rougher with drops etc, and for that you need the FS. 2010 had the railway line and a 20er is better for that, but the FS 29er is the best. Was very happy with the 29er FS.
