Did a new leg session at gym on monday and my legs are stiffed that MJ at a kids party.

 

Can I still ride with stiff legs? (I know I will need to bend my knee's)

Always try to follow HARD sessions with EASY sessions. :thumbup:

Sore legs are always made to feel better with some easy spinning - below 60% HR. Anything over and you are going to be overdoing it.

 

Train hard when fresh and rest even harder when tired.

I did a new leg routine at gym last week Wednesday morning and may have gone a bit too heavy. I went to bed on Wednesday evening with stiff legs and woke on Thursday morning to do my morning ride with sore legs. I took it easier than normal but around my neighbourhood below 60% is impossible! Needless to say I started my course of anti-inflamatories on Friday afternonn because the discomfort was unbearable. This continued through the weekend and this morning I was able to get out of bed without a grimace for the first time. Next time I will stay in bed if I feel that way. Either that or I need a stash of L-Glutamine!

 

Does anybody think that the ride made things that bad or was it just the weights...?
