Just keen to get general thoughts on spinning vs riding on the roads; particularly when roads are wet; is 1 spinning class of 45 mins enough or should one try to squeeze in 2 classes on these days?

I never work as hard in spinning as I do on the road but I figure its better than nothing...(especially if the instructor is decent) right?

Woosie - get on the road and ride!!

Naught bru I don't wanna slip and die!

Besides the whole point to road riding is to stay neat and clean.

If I want to embrace the wet I'll get on mt mtb!! :P

If you slip and die, you're doing it wrong.

If you think road is about not getting dirty, you're also doing it wrong:

Ok ok.

So was I mistaken in thinking that roadies don't ride in the rain??

Please excuse my ignorance; I have only recently made the transition to road

Ive decided the rain isnt goint to stop so I train in the rain, on my road bike, mtb too much work to clean and lube after every ride, r/b much quicker to clean.

I do spinning but not a class , do intervals which you can control much better than the road, would not do spinning class.

They usually do not work to get you fitter but just want to make you suffer.

If you do not really follow program I guess spinning class OK.
