Woofie Posted March 6, 2011 Posted March 6, 2011 Was nice meeting up with you guys for a little while yesterday.I was really sorry that I had to leave early. What a lovely hot windless day it was. Had another spout of my bug last night and I was loosing it badly from both ends all night.So feeling like a truck has just ridden me over. We should really keep these hub rides up. If we carry on getting more people joining us we could even setup our own little league.

Thanks man.well I was a bit sad when I got home when I realised I had come home an hour too early........My wife was going out, I thought she said 9 but it was actually 10. Bummer. Could have stayed on for another 30 minutes. Not quite sure if the relapse last night was food poisoining or the bug again.Met father in law at spur for lunch and I am beginning to wonder if that rib burger was all ok.(I have got sick on more than one occasion from the food from there)Still feel like a truck has ran me over, but that could also be the lack of sleep last night.

Great ride, very nice to put some faces to the hub names, pity Vallie got puncture on the way down Llandano, otherwise would have probably had a chance to say buy to everyone. Aedon, I tool a chance at the garage and pulled the thorn out, was lucky it did not actually get to the tube, must say those Cont Gp4000s are really working out for me. Woofie, agree we should definitely look at making the hub rides more of a regular thing. J guys: Pronutro,Tubehunter (J),Cape of Storms and Vallie think the J group is going to fly with you guys in it

Pronutro Posted March 7, 2011 Posted March 7, 2011 Just want to echo the sentiments of thanks (@Wannabe). It was an enjoyable ride, although my lack of fitness currently clearly showed, not being helped by suddenly trying to do a whole lot of kms in one week before the Argus Unfit + over training in the same week = tired very early on Hopefully it would've helped the cause for this coming weekend though. In the words of Nacho Libre, this week I'll just "take it eeeeasy".
