Probably will not get to the J group One thing I can state unashamedly, I will not even wheelsuck....I will just suck , so definitely planning to have a fun day.

Tubehunter Posted February 9, 2011 Author Posted February 9, 2011 Not too worried about time actually. Just hoping to hang onto the front of the bunch and do my bit of work along the way. If the conditions are similar to last year than 3:30 will be cool. Without the big hand of the South Easter pushing on our foreheads 3:15 or under will be lekka. Trying to keep up with the advanced argus fittrack training program and the legs were very tired today after I tried to make up some sprint interval training yesterday on what should've been a recovery ride. (My bad. Won't do that again.) Have 3 hours to ride tomorrow and 2 hours of climb repeats on friday. Hold me back.... Hopefully we can get some J group vibe going and not end up like every other year with peeps posting after the event that they didn't even know they were sucking behind another hubber for 109kays or sharing their bars, etc, etc.

Did a check after last year's race and most everyone who finished around my time of 3:50ish did 3:15 to 3:25 in 2008 when there was little wind. And I did it on a mtb last year so i'm hoping things will be faster.
