Turboman, out of interest, how did you then put him in the car?

Would the best thing to do not be to get an ambulance with spine board etc. or is that what you did?

Glad he is ok though.

We wanted to get an ambulance, but He wanted to get back on the bike( Crazy) we would not let him and eventually convinced him to let me get the car.

When I got back he was walking and looking at what had happened, brake marks etc.

Ok, I think as you said earlier, if there was any hint of head or neck impact then the person should me made to lie still, preferably with someone supporting the neck etc.

However this is all in a perfect world with plenty of assistants etc. Sounds like spiderman was lucky he didn't suffer any further damage.

I joined the Morne Bester / Cedar Vadek group on Saturday morning for a 60k training ride. Turned out more of a race and went up Klapperkop hill for good measure. Got back to the shop in under 2 hours !!!!

Sunday' date=' my Sabie X partner and I decided to ride Breedtsnek x 1.5. Total ascent of 1 022 metres in 32.8k's.  EISH !!

Legs are tired today !

Saturday: Did 55km on the road bike (94.7 route) with my wife then 50km on my MTB on my own.

Sunday: Rode to the club, lightning came, rode home, slept till 9 and left at 9.30 and rode 115km with 2100m climbing. My legs are finished.

Thug: Where is Breedtsnek?

Bottom of Hekpoort Hill at T-junction turn left. Park at the Excel garage on RHS about 1km further on.

Cycle towards Magaliesburg and about 0.5k further on there is a signpost for Nooitgedacht on your RHS. That's the start of the climb to the top which is 25k's. The last 2.5 k's of the climb is tough going. Once over the top, freewheel for the next 6k's to the shop which is next to the Utopia turn-off.

Have a coke at the shop, do a u-turn and cycle all the way back.

It is actually called Maahaaraand Pass on Google Earth, but all MTB'ers refer to it as Breedtsnek.
