  1. The name that BrandonF was refering to was not Nicol Carstens. At that time I actually went to check on Racetec. It was a rider with only one result and that being the Breede rivier callenge and he came 2nd. I know of Nicol Carstens and would have recognised his name. His name ( the unknown rider) is removed now, putting Timo 2nd and Nicol 3rd
  2. 100 miler is on my doorstep. So there is no choice for me.
  3. You can ride the 60 and then go over to Franschoek and ride at the dam and Matoppie Nice views, nice climbs and singletrack .
  4. I entered the ride as a solo rider. Is it possible to do this without any backup? In other words... just with the transitions boxes?. If I put something in the transition box do I have to take it at the checkpoint or can I pick it up at the end? You also seem to get 2 transition boxes. Is there a possibility of more boxes - but at an addisional cost?
  5. Net die eerste 15?
  6. Die dat ek heel agter is . Ek het die heeltyd gesoek vir die paar mooi bene waarmee hy so gespog het, maar ek sien nou julle het heelvoor gery....... die dat ek dit nie kon kry nie.
  7. There is no way that someone could do it unintently. The distance signs there was almost as tall as me.
  8. I think I lost my title . This year I am def last. Not my cup of tea. I just wish I can remember this next year BEFORE the race and not DURING the race when everything comes back like a nightmare. It not my fitnes or my abilty to climb it is just not my type of race. ... and today I made peace with that. Last weekend we did a 110km ride with a 1500m climb. This weekend I pushed my bike (I dont push my bike) on 22km .....shattered with nothing in my leggs.
  9. That is what is so nice about a MTB race. I normally starts a bit later.
  10. Smoking something at the momement?? Good point though.
  11. Go with muscle memory. As hulle eers hulle geheue herwin het sal jy fine wees........ Maar as backup kan jy saam met my die Coke stands oppak
  12. Hoo haaa Hookaai daar!!! 2nd LAST you missed a small word there. But yes still lots of positions to fill.
  13. You will be fine. I might enter too. And I was 2nd last last year. Got a score to settle........
  14. My sister just went throught the same thing. I tried to be there for her... but in the end it is a road you walk on your own . Her results had better news at the end, Good luck Slowbee, with the healing process. May it all end well. No race is important enough to take a chance on your health.
  15. Did you ask her if she had any other bikes
  16. At least you look the part
  17. She lied. I wear a road helmet and I dont look like a pro. I takes more than a helmet ........
  18. I have a white one. No visor...... my asumption is that will make it a road helmet. I wear it on both mtb and road bikes. But the hardcore downhillers en technical singletrack junkies will say that I anyway ride road on both.
  19. Awesome job!!
  20. More oggend eerste ding.
  21. OMW I plan to do it with single entry. Hopefully I will find someone that rides my speed.
  22. My HR is included in the GPX file I uploaded. but that is not a the same device Before this one I had a Entry level Polar and I could only see the ave HR and MX HR after a ride. It seems like you might have the same type of problem . From the Polar website : Selecting the items and exporting them creates a “.HRM” and “.GPX” file. The HRM records the heart rate and time for the workout while the GPX records distance information. From the BT Training Log section you can select Upload from the “jump to:” menu. From there you can select your HRM file and upload it to BT. Unfortunately this does not include the distance or map information due to a design issue with the device for 3rd party interfacing. Although that data can be added in and it does include heart rate by lap:
  23. A Coffee and Muffin ride for a change. Awesome views in the Swartland.
