I phoned PPA and they confirmed that they are not involved with this race. This also means that if you want to be timed, you need to buy the 2time chip. Next weekend league riders must wear both and other mortals only need the racete chip as it will be a Ppa race.

This is not a PPA event and therfore it would not count towards your PPA seeding. You also need a 2time chip to be timed.

Had a rather big punture on Saturday..... The upside was that I just topped up the Stans and although it took a while (a long while) the hole was sealed and I could finish the ride after I pumped the tire. The downside is everything is covered in a layer of latex. My legs. cleaned My clothes . washed but not clean And my bike. As in everywhere.........with a layer of sand grains nicely embedded. So here is the question. How do I clean this mess? Is the only way water, soap and elbow grease.? How do one clean in all the little cracks....? Is there something I can use to dissolve the latex that is safe for my bike?
