  2. Steinhart is great... Solid ETA movements... Are you guys seeing a theme yet lol
  3. Thats a 007 for sure, the citizen is slightly bigger than a 007... I can get an SKX007 if you looking, I have a J model as my daily... *Edit Damnit... only saw the markers after Gummi posted, so much for being attentive!
  4. So onto my suggestions... Hamilton : Huge history, ETA movements mostly with some in house ones. New in your price range. https://www.hamiltonwatch.com/en-za/ Fortis: Same as above, massive history, ETA and in house movements, just as spectacular as Omega, can be had new in your price range. https://www.fortis-swiss.com/ Seiko: Do not sniff at the Japanese masterpieces, there are some very high end Seikos that put the swiss to shame in terms of accuracy and reliability. As I think of more I will put them up here.
  5. At R10k to R20k you can do a lot better than than those! I would avoid the Tags totally, the tissots range in SA is limited to the budget quartz models with few and far decent ones.. Longines is a yes from me Omega's can be had in that range just takes some looking around. As you are in JHB, go to Shemars in Bedford Centre (You dont have to buy anything) tell the sales guy your budget and what you would like. Try stuff on and see what fits. I know he has a client selling an Omega speedy FOIS and its a good price. Go chat to him. There are a lot of sharks around as well, stick to the authorized dealers unless you personally know the seller.

  10. Im selling my Grimac Mia if you interested. Drop me a PM and we can chat!
  11. You should, its a great watch... lookup the watchfinder video on YouTube explaining how all the functions work, pretty amazing stuff!
  12. Seiko movements in a Swiss watch... I kid i kid! I do like some of their newer pieces! It is the reason so many watch folk hate the brand now!
  13. Heuer needed no help in the class department!
  14. This he does (Thanks)

  16. The FUTURE~!!!
  17. Rather spend your money on something like a Citizen, Orient, Seiko, Etc.. *Edit: Tissot as mentioned above..
  18. Ive been on the hunt for Tudor sub... I find them more appealing that their Rolex cousins... Although I know someone with a Rolex Air King which im after... need to sell a bit more coffee first!
  19. I dont think so though, the WR's ive ridden are relatively tame. Sure there is vooma there when you need it but it beats having to buy twice...
  20. Yamaha WR450, for me the best bet.
  21. Just in my experience after sale service isnt very good in JHB... My dad had some issues where the only assistance he got was from the guys in CPT.
