  1. I don't see a reason why it shouldn't work. The difference between 9 and 10 speed is in the width of the chain and spacing of the cassette.
  2. Think on the bright side - u can leave your water bottles at home - just ride with your mouth wide open!
  3. Thanks for all your input - much appreciated.
  4. Please could I get your views on Ultegra and Look Sprint pedals. I am currently using Look pedals but am frustrated with their incessant squeaking.
  5. I mean this one... http://www.tcsn.co.za/downloads/OFM29.jpg
  6. The original photograph tells a much more meaningful story than the cropped one used by SuperCycling. The original shows Lynette being interviewed with the focus being on her - a well composed picture. The cropped picture simply shows her with an arb hand that is not attached to a body hold a lollipop in her face - no story there. Crux - I must also say the pic of the two tandems is a awesome photo - worth actually doing something with.
  7. Scary stuff - what some ppl will do for a win
  8. Striking resemblance but not the same.
  9. I can vouch for the Easton Circuits. They came with my bike and I've done more than 15 000km on them including used them for racing. They've done well and are priced at around R 3500. They're not "bling" wheels so don't expect ppl to make wow comments about them.
  10. Zipp - 4 sure

  16. Yes cr@p - where's the Cervelo?
  17. Does anyone use Vittoria tyres, more specifically the Robino Pro's? Any views on these tyres.

  19. It's a tough call. If you're racing in licensed groups its hard to give up your race to help someone but on the other hand if it were you standing at the side of the road with a problem, for whatever reason, you'd also like someone to stop for you. Everyone should be equiped to handle a puncture and they should also be sure that they are able to change a tube themselves without help - hell its for your own good and safety.
  20. Why not carry one bottle energy drink and the other water?
  21. CSC would be an amazing opportunity for him as it would be for anyrider. Its undoubtedly the best run team.
  22. Just noticed this thread. I see that there are many Bell Sweep fans - I too have one but have found that the pads wear out very quickly. Anyone else find that too? Maybe its my noggin!
