Ya my dad had the same issue ! he went up for a business conference ! His company had him booked first class ! He got to the airport 4 hours early and they told him sorry we overbooked and the lady refused to help him ! 3 days later and R30000 he fouind him self in business class on his way home ! Ok point A i was probably wrong ! Point B i claimed nothing remotely that they didnt get tested! Cycling tests far more than other sports. In a perfect world all Drugs never existed. More sponsors would be attracted which = more prize money. No drug tests = less expenses So if your income is greater and your expenses are less you could afford to offer more prize money !

But look at it this way if the guys were honest and didnt dope in a idealistic world . The Purse would be alot bigger! they dont test the Tennis players 120 times do they ?

The replies have been very interesting if to say the least! I do go a traditional all boys school. I managed to duck and dive summer sport but am doing Cross country to maintian fitness but realy i need more the an the weekend to ride in winter. But i managed to get the sports administrator to agree to reading out the WP champ results in our assembly if they good! But what is good ? But anyway i wont stop riding at all if anything i wil probably send the Sports administrator a TDF book at the end of this year when i finish for him to educated abit more than just the 1 st team rugby

I recently tried to apply for a exemption at school from winter and summer sport. After writing a long well crafted letter i got a reply back from my School sports administrator saying: He cant grant me my request as cycling is not a team sport and i must either do rugby, hockey or cross country. Three months later the same guy takes away colors from our school. His reason for doing so was he said there was no school league in place for the school to get representation or exposure. We do only really have 7-10 cyclist in the school. We cant get any results read out in assembly as we dont do a summer sport. So my question is why is cycling dead in schools and how do people get this illlusion that cycling is not a team sport? Does your child also have this issue at school ?
