I'm not convinced I'll let it 'build up' - there's those 2 coffees that I still had that just disappeared when my phone updated the app, so for now I'll just spend whatever I have as soon as I can.

All good, Just was a bit rattled. Haven't had an incident with a car since 2001. The last commuting accident was 4 years and about 20 000 km ago when a bicycle took me out. I know the future can't be predicted by the past but it should go better this afternoon - thx!

Glad you're OK! My dual and hardtail usually share a front wheel because the hardtail's front tyre is waaaay past its due date. The dual was in for a service, so I commuted with the hardtail yesterday - with the very warn thin bubbly front tyre. It was one of the more nerve-racking rides I've had in a long time - especially on downhills, knowing that the tyre could burst any moment. Took the car today - will have the proper wheel back tomorrow for a safer ride.
