the gate at the top bit of the park, just next to the delta park school on my cycle to work couldn't get in there - it's stuck on the wrong side of the gate-frame, between the gate-frame and that stupid pole that's in the way when you try and ride through the gate. Have a suspicion it was done on purpose - a pedestrian would fit through (albeit not a fat one) but no way a bicycle would get through there ... that downhill from there to the bottom is the highlight of my commute .... seems like i'll have to enter from the car gate now, and pick up the bike over all the barriers to keep cars out of the park i'd hate to permanently cut some of the best bits out of my route anyone who can shed any light as to why it was done?? cos it won't keep cyclists out, there are enough other places to enter ?

Who is going to be there? cat-i What is your team name? didnt think of a name when i entered - any suggestions? How will we find you? I'm the one with the biggest grin on the technical sections, and most likely fall asleep on my bike on the straight sections between 3 and 5

if there is a list of mtb etiquette somewhere, please put on there that if you can't ride an obstacle, dont push in in front of other riders who might be able to ride it. and wait your line in the queue .... all of us want to make the cut-offs ...

congratulations on a superb course (for the 50, at least) the first bit of congestion was only after 14 kays, i think it was where the 25 joined the 50 - it only lasted a kay or so .... lots of great singletrack the idiots will always be with us ... yea sure, jump the queue or push in ahead of me ... if you can ride the obstacle, but if you're just gonna walk the thing, then stay where you are in the queue .... broke the derrailleur cable straight off at about 14 kays - thank you to the dude who stopped to help - i didn't even ask your name but THANK YOU for stopping - single speeding is highly overrated. why wuld anyone want to MTB without lots of gears to choose from. that said - singlespeeders - RESPECT - why on earth did the cable break - clean off??? how long are these cables supposed to last?

what a ride! only managed to get away from work early friday afternoon, so only did saturday and sunday. WAS SPECTACULAR. an .... SO much more enjoyable than the race .... time to stop and take pictures of a waterfall, or cheer someone on over a technical piece, or bomb doen (or up!) a singletrack ... the preride is already on my calendar for next year

it's been working fine for the last year or so, only tonight ... if the cookies does this then the cookies are broken i'll switch to chrome, then .... problem is every time i swith to a differnt browser i have to request a new password - i have no clue what it is, that's what cookies are for.

i can only view the first page of every thread ... as soon as the requested page loaded, it jumps back to the first page. anyone else experience this?
