Some of my sets from my younger days. Still have all of them and in their original boxes. Then bought this one for my son last year. Still sealed in the box. Bit risky giving this to a 3 year old so will be put away untill he is old enough to build this.

  3. Was just lucky. Bought from a guy on OLX in Klerksdorp. Don't think he realised the value of this or what he was actually selling. Wasn't going to help him right either. Bargain is a bargain.
  4. Got me this today. BBB Torque Wrench. Best of all. Paid R150 for it plus R65 delivery by speed services.
  5. Here is my latest purchase. GT Zaskar frame with custom paint job by Bogus One.
  6. Road or mtb. Which area?
  7. No need to get technical now JB.This is my objective opinion. They are, for me, good value for money when compared to other spoke brands. No spoke will last forever due to metal fatigue. At a point in time, which no one can tell, any spoke will brake due to fatigue.I my personal opinion they are well priced and work for me. This might not be the same for other people. Others may prefer Sapim or DT Swiss.
  8. Jip, best value to me the Pillar DB.2.0-1.8-2.0mmThey strong and last forever. And don't let anyone tell you they not strong enough.I'm no lightweight and have never broken one of these.
  9. Pillar double butted spokes.
  10. I have ridden both XT and SLX, the M785 and M675.As a weekend warrior I can't tell the difference.I currently have the M675's on my DS and must say they have great stopping power.I run 160mm rotors front and back and I am no light weight either. And they stop when they need to.SLX in my opinion best bang for your bucs.
  11. Check the gap between your spoke magnet and the speed sensor on your fork. Should be 2-3mm.
  12. I was there. She is a real monster of a lady. Heard numerous issues with lap counts and some guys even getting some additional laps added. I also think a chipped timing/lap counting system would be better. Less chance for error and disputes.
  13. Met Valeno.
  14. I'd like to join the FB group. Can you post a link to the group page.
  15. Yeh, a pitty as I used to swear by them. Also got some Racing Ralphs now.
  16. Just had the same problem with a Conti X-King this weekend.Brand new tyre I fitted. As I spun the wheel it looked like a roller coaster going from side to side.Wheel perfect, tyre not so much.
  17. Just remember to buy a tru axle for the rear, as the frame is not supplied with one. You would need the Shimano standard axle and not the Syntace X12 one.CWC sells the Alero brand Shimano std you require.
  18. This is a CAAD3. The CAAD4 had the curved seat stay. I know as I had the yellow R500 when it came out in the hay days. Agree with Spinnekop. No more than R3500.
  19. Try contacting Anatomic. Same owner and factory.
  20. Another tip is to tape the ends you are cutting with masking tape. This helps prevent the carbon from splitting at the end where you cut.
  21. Had this delivered yesterday.
  22. Hot Spot no doubt. Great team there and top class workshop.
  23. Wys nou vir ons hoe lyk daai mashien wat klaar is.
  24. Here you go. This is my own personal bike. Not the best picture. Full internal cable routing and also has all the cover plates and cable stops for DI2 or EPS.
  25. Thanks for showing interest in the wheels. Here is a link to reviews of the wheels. https://community.bikehub.co.za/topic/125349-concept-50mm-carbon-clinchers/ Thanks Leonard
