A question to all the experts out there. I recently fitted new grips on my mtb. Problem is they keep on twisting. I can see myself coming off very soon as I have once or twice lost grip while they twisted. I have Bontrager Race X Lite EVA foam grips on a glossy carbon bar. How do I get them not to twis/slip.

Yeh, makes me sad to see the place (town) go backwards like that. I grew up there and must say it was actually a very nice town to live in and grow up as a kid. Still visit there often as my parents and sister still live there.

Avoid this place as far as you can.Really gone backwards, and facilities are not maintained.Rather check out the camping spots on the Fochville road.Also some nice places along the crater.Check out the Parys info website as well.

So, I would assume you refer to my post on the question about which brakes. Yes, I do bleed my XT brakes. Once a year I replace the fluid. Just because I like to do so and that is how I maintain my equipment. Also had them built over on to a frame with internal routing, which meant I had to cut the brake hose and bleed them.

I'm a big(read 100kg) boy and these are just great.I am running mine with 160mm rotors and no problem stopping when i need to.Best of all, you can bleed them at home.Bleed kit cost R15, two 20ml syringes and fish tank tubing and you are all set to go.Easy to do once you get the hang and takes 10min.

I ran Sram Force brakes at one stage with 6700 shifters and had no issue at all with braking. Can't see why your set up won't work.

If you are running a XT crank and need to fit to a standard BB30 (Not press Fit BB30) frame you need one of these. http://www.cwcycles.co.za/product/first-bb-30-reducer-r-30 I used this for my current build to fit a Shimano XT crank on a frame with BB30.

Actually received it on Teusday already. Best helmet for my head to be honest. This will be my 3rd one. Fits me like no other helmet does. Had Bell and some others before and still the best for me.
