OP you had your rant but you are starting to sound like a 10 year crying in the school yard cause the bigger boy said something nasty. Grow a pair. If someone says something you do not like either confront them or live with it. Crying about it on a forum just makes you look petty.
Thanks. If it was just me it would not be so bad but it is for the family which makes the initial cost very steep. That said from your response the benefits certainly appear to be outweighing the initial cost.
I do agree he needed to be there after making the allegations. As always there 3 sides to any story OP, CTG and the truth in the middle. No one is coming out of this looking good.
As CTG was given the opportunity to respond so should the OP. He might have had a good reason for missing the meeting then again he might not have in which case........
I almost fell off my chair when i saw what he charges and need to make sure I am not going to get a plan off the interwebs before I drop the that kind of cash. Do you have more info as to what he did for you? Was the plan personalised, did you see real benefits etc...
And therein lies the issue. It would have to be a blanket rule in order for it to be enforced. Where would you draw the line family, friends but only beginners impossible to police unless a blanket rule was put in place. I do agree the system as it is is open to abuse but I also do not think there is an easy solution.
Would that mean for example I would not be able to ride with my wife if I wished. Or my daughter when she is old enough (if she shows an inclination). Not everyone drops down the groups to 'dish out pain'.
But the perception whether you like it or not is you are representing your club. And the message being sent is not the best for the clubs image at present. In my humble opinion anyway.
