  1. I agree, its their business and they have a right to charge what they want. What upsets me is the promise of a awesome sale, or whatever wording is used then i set aside time to browse the sale or constantly check what has been uploaded but its the same stuff with almost the same prices for as long as i can remember. The store can just say they having a sale.

  2. I've been keeping an eye on an IDT and prices for quite a while now.

Kickr Core was R14 500 RRP before any specials

    and

Kickr Snap 2 was R7500 RRP before any specials.

I see today the Core is on R15 000 RRP before so called 14% discount

I think the prices CWC have it for is a good price considering the exchange rate. What i dont get is the 2nd hand ones selling for way more than the new price, but thats for another thread

  3. Tread carefully ....

They (ASG) OFTEN dont have stock when concluding a deal ...

I have twice confirmed stock levels, then drive to Paarl ... to hear they dont actually have stock.

    Same happened to friend.

NOTE ... they (bike shops in SA) cant ship any products during the lock down.

Thanks for the heads up. Before lockdown i actually wanted to take a drive to fit on their helmets

  4. i was in the same boat as you a couple of months ago, was searching for Supacaz tape as I wanted it in orange/black and their tape looks funky, eventually I sourced it then struggled to fit it as it is shorter than other bar tape. The bar tape also got dirty very quick and damaged easily. I bought me R150 bar tape just before CTCT and very happy with it.

I know I am not answering your question but just thought I will let you know.

    Hi Hubbers,

Any idea who has stock of Supacaz Super Sticky Kush Handle Bar tape in Cape Town?

    Thx

  5. THIS is the reason why insurance/medical aid premiums etc are going through the roof.  People do not take any responsibility for themselves and always try to shift blame - or try to claim for accidents - that is in most cases only an accident.  We see it everywhere in society...sport/school/public events.

isnt that what insurance is for?? accidents?

  6. Expo was a non event, even though I took my girls through there just to see.

But I did drop some cash on the floor at the ciovita stand and will be sporting all new kit on Sunday.

Almost made a huge mistake by buying an indoor bib. That would have not been to pretty.

    Whats their indoor bib?

Edit: okay nevermind I saw on their website
