  1. Thanks Mark James. The next question will be then, which grinder should i get if go the AeroPress route.

As a trained (in France for 3 years) "flavour/perfume nose", and someone who has done sensory training on coffee, I use an AeroPress. Not sure of the current price in South Africa, but less than R1000, probably around R800.

The quality of the coffee's organoleptic extraction, and sensory profile I get from it is better than anything I have ever done sensory evaluation on (or training). For the same quality level from a machine, I would need to spend R30k+.

Save yourself a buckload of cash, and buy an AeroPress.

  2. hi guys, i am interested in getting myself a coffee machine similarly to the Breville Barista Express (with grinder). I have tried to read through some of the pages but its overwhelming. What machine would you guys suggest, i have a budget for about R6.5 - R7k, it will be my first machine.

  3. i sent you a DM @Cycling Club

You can call the bank where he hold his account and say you were scammed, sometimes they put a hold on the account but then you need to log a case at SAPS and provide them with a case number.

  4. I sat down with my insurance, we looked at new, what I spend and reach a middle ground that both parties agreed to and the premium was based accordingly. Also, every 6 months I go through all my policies and make adjustments as needed. That’s just me though.

I read this article and thought I will post this link here, maybe you should change your insurer.

  5. You really are emotionally invested in this. It is actually not that important to anyone but the buyer, the seller and his agent.

Ps. And when you have referenced legal or insurance remedies or regulations they have either been irrelevant or just plainly wrong.

seems like some sleepless nights too

  7. Send specs of bike along with proof of ownership to LBS. Get quote for replacement if lost or irreparable damaged.

Send to insurance and pay premium accordingly.

    What am I missing here?

Exactly, im also not sure what I am missing. That's the exact procedure requested from my insurance.
