I dont think the people on the Hub are going to be too bothered about the cancellation. Heck most of us have probably already entered the Paarl Cycle Tour. Its the rest of the plebs that make up the numbers and that will be cross about a cancellation and not enter next year. Similar to those that have not entered the cycle tour this year because of the cancellations in the past.
This really hits the event hard. Lets hope, people forget after a perfect Argus and enter for Die Burger in December!
do you think there will be a big turn out for the Paarl Cycle Tour?
i just heard that the cruise liner/s is currently leaving the harbor.
I really hope PPA atleast gives a discount/free entry on another race. Since i have been with PPA, to me its like they have a "dont care" attitude, the only time they care is when they need your membership.

I dont use it often. Bought it for the kids bikes but they dont have any interest in cycling so can use the money for something else.

I will be in Hartenbos next week, is there still road rides happening?
It's safe. We haven't had any issues for the past years. For group rides go to the LBS Monties or Johnny Koen. Lots of road bike activity around this time of the year. Road bikes leave Mondays to Fridays at 5:30 from the Total petrol station next to Johnny Koen/ Agri. MTB Tuesdays and Thursdays 17:30 from the Shell petroport Voorbaai.

Has anyone tried the new FA Podium Bibshorts. I have read some bad reviews about previous FA bibshorts but apparently the new one has changed completely. Can anyone confirm it?
I have done one or two days in the past from Plumstead to Century City ?
Which route would you go ? I am keen to try again depends on time of day.
Need a reason to force me to leave work on time and not be stuck late.

nad if I remember correctly you 'just' missed a special on the supacaz stuff from TokenSA a short while back. maybe take a chance and send them this pic in here of the bartape at R499 and ask nicely. (R370+15%VAT+10% admin = ± R470 anyway)
I have been eyeing it for a while and the colour i wanted never went on special, it was r599 without courier costs.
