  1. At upwards of R4k just for a respray, Invisiframe comes out a lot cheaper and also protects from chips and damage.
  2. https://www.invisiframe.co.uk/TREK/TOP-FUEL-9-9-and-9-8-and-9-7-2017-on Here's a link to see how clean it looks fitted. Does VPS come out as clean as this?
  3. This just looks like a layer of some sort of wax that won’t protect it from stone chips/cable rub though.
  4. Hello Huber’s Sending my bike in for a fresh lick of paint and wanting to make sure it stays in new condition after it has been painted. Found a product called invisiframe who have frame protection for basically any frame/fork you can think of. Looking at ordering in some from the UK and would be keen to do it with someone to share postage costs. A kit costs about £60 plus £26 courier with DHL which we would split. Or is there an alternative locally that’s as neat as invisiframe?
  5. And to make matters worse, the quality of the little thumbnails of the pictures are so terrible, you can’t even see if it’s a nice picture. Could drop R75 for something that you think looks nice until you get the actual file...
  6. So so expensive for what you get. Had another place called instapix do one of our local events, pictures were half the cost and was even surprised by an envelope in the post with hard copies of the pictures too. Jetline need to learn from companies like this. Had one or two nice shots taken at Berg and Bush this last week but I can’t seem to bring myself to pay close to R100 for a digital copy of a picture.
  7. These just arrived on my desk... Thanks Buycycle!
  8. I wasn't looking for one, was just having a general chat with them and told them I rode a buddies one and how wicked the lefty is and then they explained they've tried to stock them but they can't get it right. Guess that could be the case, but I don't think so, they pretty honest with me about everything and I'm sure they wouldn't have brought it up for no reason, but who knows.
  9. A few of those shops have since closed down and none of them stock Cannondale. My LBS stocks Omnico products, just can't get 'Dales (apparently).
  10. Agree with you fully. And they are fully invested in every brand they sell. One has to be given an opportunity to succeed though.
  11. All good and well apart from the fact that there is only one 'dealer' in KZN and it's CL. My LBS sells plenty of bikes but apparently no matter what they have tried they can't get it right. Bit unfair if you ask me, don't think CL needs much protection.
  12. Heard the same thing. My LBS has been trying to get them in for a while with plenty customers wanting them but Omnico apparently won't give in due to there being a big dealer in the ''area''.
  13. Mix of all the routes pretty much, don't ever just stick on one route.
  14. So blessed to get to call it my training ground. So many different trails to choose from.
  15. Time for some new tubeless tape.
  16. Barzo in 2.25 is 750g (Claimed) Mezcal in 2.25 is 690g (Claimed) Didn't actually weigh them. I'd rather have a few extra grams of weight than stopping and plugging or DNF.
  17. Ended up going the Barzo (F) Mezcal ® and haven't looked back. That Barzo is something else compared to the Ardent Race or Ikon and seems to roll decently as well!
  18. Early birthday present from me, to me. New drivetrain and a quarq.
  19. Can imagine the traction must be great with that combo but I’m racing XC. So, far too much Tyre, far too much weight and far too much rolling resistance for me. Thanks for the response though!
  20. Working 100%. Its a left unit on top of the bar though.
  21. I've got a dual I wouldn't mind swapping for a single under-bar left lever as I only use it for my fork.
  22. So my tyres are nearing the end of their life. Currently running Maxxis Ardent Race 2.3 on front (24mm internal rim) and Maxxis Ikon 2.2 on back (27mm internal rim). Have quite enjoyed the combination but I feel the ikon is lacking a bit of traction so interested in trying a different combination. Have been looking at the Vittoria range but a bit confused with what combination will be similar to what I currently have. I have read that the Barzo/Saguaro combination works quite well but then I have seen that the mezcal is even faster rolling so wouldn’t that be a better rear? Quite hard to find any reviews on the net because I think they have changed the tread pattern so often.
  23. New Nextie Carbon rim and finally got to fit my Eagle Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  24. Finally all my stuff from Nextie arrived after customs thought it was a fun idea to detain my shipment and process it twice. Rim: Great quality, looks super nice and it’s super light. Taking it out for its first ride today. If you in the market for a carbon rim, definitely give Nextie a look! Brian from Nextie is super helpful. Seatpost: great quality as well and looks good. Easy to set up. Here’s some pictures below. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  25. Does the 15% off not apply to samples? Keen on getting cages as well..
