  1. I saw those at Aspire Velotech. I think I might just get one and try it out for myself.
  2. Holy crap! How ever did they survive?
  3. Its ok I guess( ). You should consider upgrading the wheels.
  4. You need to be part of the inner circle of magazine readers it would appear.
  5. Yes, in the early 90's, but werent too successful. Campag cant really compete with Shimano financially, they are 20 times smaller in terms of turnover. Even in Italy, Shimano outsells Campagnolo. Wont stop me from converting though, 2013 Dura Ace is the ugliest group in the history of cycling.
  6. There have been a few cyclists killed on that road.
  7. Awesome then. Do you have a black bike?
  8. I'm not a fan of tubby bags under my seat, they make my bike look crap. But i have to say, i hate stupid ego driven rules more than tubby bags, so i reckon you should do whatever blows your hair back. In my case i have removed the eyesore from my bike to my body and ride with a camelback(gasp, shock, horror). Its got handy pouches to store stuff, and when i'm fat and unfit it provides me with more than enough liquids. Lets get back to the black bikes thread.
  9. LOL, bidon, maybe 5 people on the hub know what you're talking about.
  10. I've had that before after a long ride, although i assumed it was because of dehydration. Try and delay your number 1 until after you have rehydrated with enough water.
  11. I run them at 100psi, so they add a bit of cushioning compared to the 23c's at 120 psi. Its subtle though, not like you get on and say 'wow' these are comfy.
  12. I'm very happy with my Gatorskins. I'm not a racing snake, so ride 25c for a bit more comfort.
  13. There is a perception that a shorter stem is better for lower back issues. This isn't really the case. Since I’ve gone for a longer stem I’m more stretched out and flatter instead of hunched and upright. My back is much happier for it.
  14. Thought so.
  15. Prove it.
  16. Its not true. There are several different fake factories sharing the same fake moulds.
  17. Probably superior, made with quality Toray carbon. With the fakes you have no idea where it was made and what the quality control is. If you think they come from the same factory using the same carbon then you are mistaken.
  18. Wow, i would have to lose 30 kg's to get to 2.
  19. Thats what i was trying to say :-)
  20. Shipping of a complete bike is 400 euros, so a bit more than R1K.
  21. Nice! I have a thing for CAAD's, who needs carbon when you can have a CAAD.
  22. Nice to see a classic MTB.
  23. The guy is a legend. There was a huge post about him on here a few years ago. Glad to see he is still around.
