  1. FanD does have a point. Until we strap a GoPro to every cyclist to monitor their every movement 24 hours a day, i'm not believing a single thing that comes out of their mouths. I will not be taken for a fool again by any one of them. That doesn't mean I wont enjoy the spectacle of the tour, but thats all I'm treating it as, a huge freaking spectacle.
  2. Good point GoLefty. Merckx won his last tour before he turned 30, Big Mig at 30, LeMond at 29 and Hinault at 30.
  3. What fixie is it? If its an 80s track bike then you might not be able to run a 23 on the front.
  4. Try Salvo, they do frame building and restoration as well. http://salvobmx.blogspot.com/
  5. Very cool Conrad. Got my first racing bike from Deale and Huth way back in 1986. They were in the center of Joburg back when it was still safe to walk around there.
  6. The Cipollinis are also made in Italy. I think making copies is really pathetic and a sign of zero creativity and intelligence. But yet people still buy them.
  7. Out of all of those I only still own the Daccordi.
  8. Well, to be fair, Thomo did make the statement "And I forget the name of Pornstar's site.", and Black Spade Racing politely provided the answer.
  9. The racing 1's are awesome wheels. Don’t worry about the Sram/Shimano comment, Campagnolo launched Fulcrum to target the non Campag camp. Having said that, I have to admit that the latest R-SYS SLR's are the sexiest wheels on the planet right now.
  10. Looks like respect is cheap on the hub. All you need to do is be a total douche, get caught out and write a soppy confessional. I'd rather save my respect for the real heros of this world.
  11. Wow! Awesome Bora's. Are those 8 speed?
  12. Times are tough, some people need to do what they need to do.
  13. City cycles at canal walk has some bmx spares, i'm sure ive seen sprockets in one of their display cabinets.
  14. Buy a couple of cheap veloce 10 speed cassettes off chainreaction. Its all loose sprockets and spacers, and two will be enough to get the required amount of spacers.
  15. Just looking at a Cervelo S2 and I can tell you that you're going to have shifting problems. I thought those guys were engineers, but who in their right mind routes cables into a frame at a 90 degree angle to the tube. Just search for Cervelo S2 shifting problems on Google and you'll see that you're not alone.
  16. Um, yes, but this is the hub, facts don't really matter.
  17. Man, I’m really sick these insecure cyclists who feel so self important that they warrant a greeting from me. Unless I know you I'm probably not going to greet you. If I wake up feeling jolly I may grant you the pleasure of a nod or lift my finger, but that's the extent of the energy I can spare for you. If you're not happy with that, I'm not even sorry for you, I just don't care that much about your little issue. Does this mean I wont help a fellow cyclist in need. No it doesn't. I care about humanity in general, and I will go out of my way to help those in need, but a greeting from me, isn't a need. If you're still upset that people wont greet you, I can suggest a good life coach, or possibly some cognitive therapy to help you get through your day.
  18. Maybe its an Italian thing, but Di Luca seems about as dumb as Ricco.
  19. Isn't that because you were on team cough mixture?
  20. Those are really cool. I wonder what the deal is with them. They are not listed on the De Rosa website and you can only seem to buy them from online retailers in the UK.
  21. What stem are you looking for?
  22. And if the price of the bike is under $1000(aus) she wont have to pay tax or import duties.
  23. You have to be a real Koos to buy a focus for 500K.
