  1. I do not disagree that Lance doped... But why then ban him for life? Everybody doped. You had to. FFS. The sport has been hurt enough by this witch hunt. Rabobank, lost supporters. Lance does not cycle anymore. He is part of the past. Strip him of his titles, nail the bloody tatter tales and shave everybody with the same comb. And then, focus on the future.
  2. Interesting to see... I have had 2 thule's No issues whatsoever. That includes driving with it loaded with 2 bikes at 170kph... The manual states no faster than 120... But oh yeah, nobody reads manuals.
  3. Ag flip... Now this is the next page... PFFFT! So here goes, my WIP build... Wheels still needs to be sticker bombed (Thank you to the nice fellas at http://www.stickerstash.co.za/), and I need to add the GT decals...
  4. F@&&IT is the word that comes to mind... Thankyou, now I have to post my WIP build on the next page (because it is not nearly as nice as yours).
  5. Or you can contact my buddy martin for some as well: enslinm@gmail.com Their website: http://www.stickerstash.co.za/
  6. AB Has a little to learn yes... But Kallis did not contribute with the bat (he took a swing at everything), and same with the gall (Bowling short of a length). Getting moerred for 38 off 2 overs, Kallis and Morkel will have to do some homework on that. Amla not contributing either - he could have taken that catch at the death easy! Bar those three, I think they had a brilliant game. It just seems that Pakistan got our number in the limited overs matches...
  7. You have quite obviously not paged through this very thread... Yes, there is advantages, but there are also some very distinct disadvantages... Pro: Lighter, cleaner, less maintenance Con: 5 times the cost, no after sales in SA, need a broken frame, cannot tension too much (as tension steals power and you have to get it perfect) So although it is a good idea, it will definitely not replace the chain sometime soon.
  9. Those South Africans include cyclists... SO while you are hiding behind that idea, Charity starts at home... How do you expect motorists to respect you? Respect is earned... In single file.
  10. But Two wrongs raises awareness... FFS! Stay in single file when there is no shoulder... Is it that difficult to grasp?
  11. That and the F Bomb...
  12. I get to drive on the N12 between Joburg and Klerksdorp every weekend on a Friday evening and a Monday morning. Baaaad news guys! The issue is that there is soo many illegal drivers out there with either no license or a bought license and on top of that people just have a blatant disregard for the rules. That coupled with a lot of stupidity, you have a lekker pressure cooker waiting to blow up!

  14. Just to make sure it stays with us as an example of how to...
  15. Well, it is very easily mis-diagnosed. A second opinion was in my case required. They did all sorts of tests and at first got it wrong, and the second doc got it right. It may very well be your issue as well, as I have similar symptoms.
  16. Well, I have been diagnosed with exercise induced asthma... It has been miss diagnosed before as seasonal Asthma, and I continued as normal, with the odd breathing issue and then using the pump. Now that my doc had put me on to chronic meds for Asthma, I barely use the pump. The instruction is that I take a pill (Singulair) on hour before exercise, with 2 puffs 30 min before... Last night I went for a session with one of my MMA buddies, with only the pill, and all went very well! Our spinning instructor at Eco Park is also an Asthma sufferer, but hers is attributed to food allergies. So in short, you need to find out what causes yours, and treat that. According to my doc, if we can avoid getting to the point that you are weezing like an 80 year old, we are good. She is of the opinion that prevention is better than cure, and I fully agree, as I cannot explain the feeling of breathing properly again!
  17. O ja... Isn't name calling also a little childish?
  18. Haha, so You and I, we are both Trolls, the passion was aroused with your very first post...
  19. Haha!
  20. Seems that you may have facepalmed before thinking of some of your replies... No more hot chock boet... Just good old water...
  21. I feel your pain. And best of all, I was tempted to call some names... Maybe we should start.
  22. As said below, you asked for my opinion... Ok, so don't give Oscar a break. Whilst you at it, Line up Oscar and Bolt next to each other... There will never be a way to quantify the advantage that the blades give Oscar. Yes, there is the "spring" or "bounce" effect of the blade. But the Prostheses needs to be connected to the body, and I believe that this in it's own does not allow for optimal power transfer from body to blade. The Achilles Tendon is the thickest and strongest tendon in the Human body, it can handle a load of about 7.7 times the body weight when running. So I believe that you need to use this data, plus the efficiency of the human joints and compare that to the Efficiency of the blade minus the weak point of the connection region of the Prostheses. Then, you need to take the athlete into consideration as well, as kids start to run around from the age of 3 and competitively from the age of 5. How long would one take to get accustomed the these blades? The only way to really measure the advantage, is to take Oscar and Bolt, and measure their power output on something like a stepper machine.
  23. Oh really, you made one point of your own and quoted a few others... The only science that you got right here, was to Google some stuff... Are you a scientist, or at least an engineer to quantify what you have said? Answer me this, if he has this advantage, why don't you trade your lowers for a new shiny carbon bit? I said, and will say again: Give the man some credit. DO I dislike him after his rant? Nope. It only goes to show that he is also human.
  24. In addition to the above, the oke doesn't have lower legs!!! Will you trade your lower legs for some blades? FFS! Give the man credit!
  25. O ja... Dangle... Me Swary. Wil nou nie soos n konserwatiewe suur-0 klink nie...
