    Update - the one marked for delivery (23H40 last night) arrived this afternoon, so lets see if the other is on its way soon. (I'm in KZN, so may be slightly better that JHB or CT?)

    I have 2 sitting with GFS at the moment... one out for delivery, and one "we are trying to deliver your package", which is short for we will get there when we get there which appears to precede the out for delivery on the GFS tracking (You can't rely on Temu's out for delivery, as that could be any time in the next 7 days according to them) Will update if it ever arrives.

    Possibly an old OCR carbon that's been resprayed. Was the endurance / more relaxed geometry frame before aero was a thing.

    Anyone have a decent contact at Garmin repairs? Sent my unit (810) in over a month ago, was quoted for a replacement unit, accepted quote, told it was on its way, and then only to be told 2 weeks later there is actually no stock of what they quoted on! Frustrated and getting nowhere!

    Now if only you'd put some of those 50% discounts up that you've been advertising the last few days? All I can see is helmets at 40%

    It's VERY easy to go a layer or 5 too deep, affecting structural strength! From experience, I found wet sanding to have less of an impact on the carbon layers vs dry (and wet seems to be recommended by the experts anyway)

    Something I've found over the years here is that timing is everything... You can readvertise something at a really good price for months on end, with no luck until you give up. Then 6 months later you advertise the same item and it's gone in a day with 3 others begging for it. I've learnt it's just the nature of the place, and if you want something to move quickly, advertise at a price that will make that happen, else be prepared to be patient if your price is fair.
