Not sure what time it happened, Sometime between 07h30 and 11h00. Car guard had no clue when we asked him what happened. It just spoils what was such a nice ride. Anyway, it is just a "heads up" for those who always park there.

Hey All Just please be careful when parking at Sharondale. On Saturday they smashed our window and stole stuff out the car while we were out riding, I think it is safer to park at Rietvlei and ride from there.

I think that is the best option in that area..

Thought it would be nice to do an easy 20km Spruit Ride (in Jhb) from Conrad drive this Sunday at 8:30am. Then have coffee at Fratellis aftewards. Coffee around 9:45am. This will give you a chance to meet fellow Sani riders, discuss the race, packing lists etc. Also give your bikes a final check to make sure they are "Race Ready" And since it is going to be cold at Sani, I will give away a Teamline CUBE Hoody to someone on Sunday. We doing a Pre-Sani2c coffee ride on Sunday. Just an easy 20km ride on the Spruit; starting and ending at Conrad Drive. Just to turn the legs over and make sure all equipment is in working order. CUBE will put some money towards coffee afterwards. You can then meet fellow riders,discuss what to expect, packing lists, etc. All WELCOME. Start riding 8:30. Coffee around 9:45am.

I can't be there on the 12th but will be doing a slow loop on mountain bikes on Sat 5th at 7 for those looking to ride with a group

I hope not. Planning on doing a loop on the Mountain Bike on Saturday as a Sani training ride.

Does anyone actually know where to go to the start? Do you pay at the Soccer Field/Sports Ground, Nobel Gate Permit Office, or any other of the 10 gates in and around Modder? (Nobel Gate is about 1km from Soccer Field parking) Unless they have made special plans - Nobel Gate Permit office is closed on weekends btw

A few of us are going to ride from Rietvlei farm in Alberton to the Vaal Dam on Saturday. I have plotted a route that is 100km and only 15km of tar. Has anyone else done this ride? If so, any suggestions?

Does anyone who rides out South have any tips or routes to ride from Rietvlei to the Vaal Dam? I have a basic route idea but suggestions welcome. Will be doing this ride next weekend.

This bike will be on display at the Nationals at Fountains in PTA this Saturday.

I know Complete Cyclist had one for the race and Evens Cycles had one for the adventure last year. I suggest contacting them.

Speak to Evans Cycles in Toti.. They will also be able to help. (especially for a beginner)
