Afternoon all I just been sitting here and wondering what is the diffrence between the two ?? what are the amount of teeth on the big blade and the small of a normal crank and that of a compact set. My hill climbing sucks and i really struggle going up Would it benifit me to get compact cranks in any way ??? I have a Ultegra groupset but for the life of me i dont know if they are compact or not Ta muchley

yea why only in the USA why cant it be done in South Africa ??? I think there was a thread last week about how to get the schools in south africa involved .

I was impressed this afternoon i got a call from my LBS in Vredenburg Frankia Fietse My bike went in yesterday for a problem i picked up on he weekend and this arvie they called and asked could they deliver my bike to my home which is 15 km from the shop. Saving me the trip through the traffic and all the stress then I could come in on my time and sort the bill out now i did not even buy my bike there but always get all my accerories from them tyres tubes flashing lights co 2 cartriges ect ect. Now that is what I call going the extra mile

I would tend to agree by getting the schools involved. Make it a school Sport like rugby , cricket or soccer. Bmx, track ,Mtb and road.
