    It's called marketing, they make you believe you are getting the deal of the century. That's why i always shop around even if an item is "on sale"

    Makes sense as every time I noticed this it was in wet or foggy conditions but never experienced is this badly in the 3 years I had the the device. It is a bit annoying though. As for the HR this might be related to the battery life, probably need to replace the battery but trying to open it up without stripping those tiny little screws is a nightmare.

    Is anyone else experiencing issues with their Edge 520 or any other Garmin devices in cold weather? Elevation and heart rate have been way off recently, sometimes not recording at all, and only seems to normalize once the sun is out and things warm up a bit. Did the Stellenbosch MTB Challenge over the weekend and was 600m short on elevation, even went to 139m below sea level (?) Any way to fix this?

    It lost the "Challenge" bit. Had some teething problems last year with the new venue. Traffic was a nightmare, bottle necking at the starting shoots but trust that it will be sorted this year

    That's the best way; try them and decide for yourself. It might work for you.

    Have been riding Forekasters for a few years now, not a very grippy front tyre in dry conditions but very grippy on wet conditions. Strangely enough on the rear it is quite grippy in dry conditions, especially over rocky sections. I eventually swapped out the front Forekaster for an Ardent which offers enough grip in both dry and wet conditions. In terms of durability: very good I would say. Was riding the rear tire up 3000km doing mixed terrain before I had to replace due to a snakebite. Front tire has been going for 4000 kays and is now doing service at the rear.

    Have my two bikes insured at MiWay to the value of R100k and pay R486 for both. R900 is way to much, shop around a bit.

    Had a friend collect mine yesterday, provided him with a photo of my id which was what they initially required. Eventually he had to complete an entire form in order to get race packs.

    Just make sure the Holy Grail fits your frame before you buy, read on another trusted forum that it does not fit the 2017+ medium frames

    Replaced my dropper post with a standard post because dropper posts are overrated. Then bought one of these from Cyclelab, fits nicely into your jersey pocket. https://www.cyclelab.com/product/amped-essentials-pouch Replacing the dropper also allowed me to have an extra water bottle.
